Phy-Box ("we", "our", or "the App") is designed with a philosophy of Privacy-First and Offline Reliability. We believe your sensor data belongs to you. This policy outlines how we handle data accessed via your device's sensors.
Phy-Box processes all data locally on your device. We do not operate a backend server, and we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, sensor logs, or audio recordings to any cloud service or third party.
The App requests Microphone access for the following features:
How it is used: Audio data is processed in real-time RAM (Volatile Memory) to generate graphs and visualizations. No audio is ever recorded to persistent storage or transmitted over the internet.
The App requests Location access (Coarse/Fine) for the following feature:
How it is used: Your latitude and longitude are fed into a local mathematical algorithm (Ephemeris engine). This calculation happens entirely offline. Your location is never tracked or shared.
The App accesses the following hardware sensors:
This data is used strictly for the functionality of the tools (e.g., measuring vibration, orientation, or magnetic fields). Data history is stored temporarily in your device's RAM for graphing purposes and is cleared when you close the tool.
